What is organic cotton?

My Wildflower tea towels are printed on 100% ACO certified organic cotton by Organic Print Studio - but you may be wondering what organic cotton even is? Well, certified organic cotton is grown and processed without the use of synthetic chemicals, fertilisers, or GMO’s. The Australian Certified Organic (ACO) Standard is one of the most respected and rigorous standards in the world for organic production. Certified organic is a whole systems approach, and is a holistic means of growing and handling. The whole system is linked – Soil, Plants, People, Environment – to create a sustainable material.

Where is the cotton grown? Where are the tea towels printed?

The ACO certified organic cotton is grown in India, and the tea towels are sewn in India too. The tea towels are then printed in Melbourne, Australia, by Organic Print Studio, with organic printing standards and dye inks.

How long for shipping?

Wildflower tea towels are dispatched within 4-7 business days from Melbourne, then allow for shipping times. They are sent through Australia Post with standard, tracked shipping (which is a flat rate of $9.95 Australia wide), and once your tea towel is shipped you will receive a tracking number. Wildflower tea towels are packaged in compostable mailers.
