These beautiful frames are made out of gorgeous (and sustainably sourced) Flooded Gum.

What is Flooded Gum?

Flooded Gum is a type of eucalyptus that is native to the east coast of Australia. My framers use FSC certified plantation grown Flooded Gum. FSC Certified is an internationally recognised certification which means that a timber product meets the Forestry Stewardship Council’s ‘gold standard’ for ethical and sustainable timber production. Flooded Gum looks very similar to Tassie Oak.
